CYLINDER HEAD GASKETS FOR REMAN SHORT BLOCKS
PURPOSE
When installing a remanufactured engine short block listed below, use the new, thicker cylinder head gasket (listed in the PARTS INFORMATION
section of this bulletin). If the wrong gasket is installed, engine knock may result.
This bulletin applies the shown remanufactured short block assemblies:
All remanufactured short blocks are shipped with a yellow 1" X 2" sticker with identification information verifying that they are reman units.

1989-99 Eclipse and Galant models equipped with 2.0L DOHC engine
